Conducted by Fabien Gabel, the OSM welcomes to its stage pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque. "Glass’ Double Piano Concerto," written for these two artists, is a work in which soloists and orchestra weave a tapestry of sound in constant flux. The melodic sensuality of Richard Strauss’ "Dance of the Seven Veils" and of Schmitt’s "La tragédie de Salomé" bring a touch of exoticism to this program.
